Good news may seem pretty scarce at the moment, but if you’re a fan of KTM’s Duke line and love beefed up versions of brilliant bikes, this launch will surely make your day.
The 2020 KTM 890 Duke R, affectionately known as the ‘SUPER SCALPEL’ was unveiled by video conference at the end of last month.
This beefed up version of the much-praised KTM 790 Duke is as agile as its predecessor, with a whack of extra power. Like the rest of the range, the Super Scalpel is equally at home on mountain roads as it is on the race track. This latest version delivers more power, more torque and more dukeness than any parallel twin that has come before it.
