Yesterday KTM announced a brand new generation of Enduro machines for model year 2017. The new range will have an entirely new chassis, engines and some model changes. As a result the Enduro 2017 model is said to be lighter, stronger and faster!
These modifications to the Enduro range once again highlight KTM’s commitment to offroad racing.
In a statement from Joachim Sauer (KTM Offroad Product Manager) he states that “the brand new line-up of our off road competition Enduros are proof of KTM’s ongoing commitment to our core discipline. We believe this Enduro sportmotorcycle range will push the excitement and satisfaction of any rider to a new level”.
The new Enduro model range has been changed to include the 125 XC-W and 150 XC-W. This will replace the 125 and the 200 EXC, which are designed for closed course racing. Whilst in the 4-stroke range, KTM will continue to completely update the versions of the 250 EXC-F, 350 EXC-F models.
The new models feature a new chassis and suspension, including the WP XPlor 48 upside-down split fork by WP. The KTM R&D team have worked hard to produce new engines that deliver a new and improved performance, reduced weight and a more compact size to aid better machine handling.
Here at AMS4KTM we can’t wait to get our hands on the new Enduro 2017 range which will begin to arrive with European dealers from June.
