Limited edition KTM 790 Adventure R Rally announced

KTM have just announced they’ll be making just 500 KTM 790 ADVENTURE R RALLY bikes! Why you ask? Well according to Hubert Trunkenpolz (CMO KTM AG), ‘because they can.’

The latest addition to the adventure range is for riders who expect to encounter the most hardcore conditions. Built to cross continents and rock up to rally start lines raring to go, this is the most travel capable rally bike KTM have ever produced.

The exclusive Rally version is based largely off the hugely popular 790 Adventure R with the major difference being the addition of a special WP XPLOR PRO suspension set. The forks and shock absorbers are built in the same department WP’s Factory Racing equipment in order to deliver unrivalled performance and comfort in the most treacherous conditions. 

As well as the suspension, the ADVENTURE R RALLY features a number of more subtle but equally important upgrades, including:

• Weight-saving Akrapovič exhaust

• Carbon fibre tank protectors and 

• Quickshifter+ as standard

• Unique color and graphic design

• Clear screen and winglets,

• Narrower rims fitted with tubes 

• High, straight racing seat

• Rally footrests
